Rituals

The social consequences of technology and rituals emerging from it:
Rituals as simple everyday interactions, such as shaking or holding hands, behold universal dimensions and can be applied to possibly every set of demographic culture, (though the symbolic meaning may differ.) The rituals of everyday life also define who and what we are to different people. Technology tend to act as a contributor to developing cultural languages and rituals, based upon mutual understandings of common feelings.
